The Merchant of Clyde Cafe is a must for locals and visitors to the town, who want to experience the atmosphere and flavours of Olivers cafe-deli-bakery.

Our specialist baking team at the Merchant of Clyde Cafe, Deli and Bakery start early each morning producing an extensive range of delicious baked goods for the day ahead.  

And for coffee lovers - we’re proud to be selling Hummingbird's 'Merchant Of Clyde' 100% certified organic brew. 

Freshly baked bread is also produced in our kitchen and sells fast from our Clyde cafe.


In addition, our popular Merchant of Clyde range of specialty relishes, chutneys and preserves (produced on-site) are available to buy.

The delicatessen features local cheese, house smoked salmon, Otago honey, Patagonia Chocolates and Ice-cream and a variety of other of other local produce.

To complement this, pastas, vinegars, spices and other exotic foods from around the world add an international flavour.
