The Dunstan Room
There are many references in Central Otago to Dunstan. As far back as 1858, the name appears in the region’s history and Clyde itself was originally named Upper Dunstan. It is thought the mountains in the area reminded early pioneers of England where Dunstan means “a stone on a hill”- hence the name.

The Dunstan Room can be joined with the adjacent Davidson Room for a family group and its stylish interior includes an ensuite which opens directly onto Olivers private courtyard. 

Twin single beds - quality cotton linen - feather eiderdown - radiator central heating - ensuite with underfloor heating - wheelchair friendly. Includes a freshly baked hot breakfast.

The Stone Stable

Once a stable housing horses, harnesses and hay, the Stone Stable takes its name from the original stone flooring. Now a tastefully decorated room with ensuite, its schist stone walls and stable-doors create a wonderful ambience.

The stable doors open onto Olivers sunny courtyard backdropped by Central Otago hills.

The Tack Room

History exudes from every corner of the Tack Room where harnesses and other horse equipment were originally stored. A faithful restoration incorporating the original stable door and schist stone walls, enhance the historic character, at the same time providing 21st century comfort.

The room opens directly onto Olivers sunny courtyard.
